ABOUT ME

A little bit about me…

I grew up outside of Houston, Texas, far enough from the city (at the time), and not too far from the coast. As a young girl, I can remember spending summers in New York taking Art classes that my grandmother enrolled me in, I remember playing piano, ballet, riding and showing horses, and competing in sports, which ultimately sent me to college on a Division I Softball scholarship. Some of those things I enjoyed more than others, but everything I have done until this day has shaped me into the person that I am. In college I attended classes from pre-vet to psychology, teaching, art, business and everything in-between. I graduated with a BS in Business Administration, have also earned my human and equine massage therapy certification, and still enjoy teaching and working with horses. I still remember shooting photography with the camera that had the floppy disk… My how we’ve upgraded! Shortly after college, I started to get more serious about my photography. Im fascinated by how the world works, by how people think, and capturing those moments, but most of all capturing the genuine connection within those moments. Photography for me, involves technical components, but it is very much an art, and more … a feel. Capturing the moment, the true connection, telling a story, and sharing my perspective. To me this is a journey, and hope to bring truth with every click. My passion is to find the beauty in the world, to capture that, and to share it with you.
